Raíces Exhibition Opening
Join us for Raíces, an exhibition of contemporary jewelry. Tilde Collective is composed of four Spanish-speaking artists using contemporary jewelry as their means of expression. Tilde was born as an exploration of their Latin American roots as seen from their personal life experiences.

About The Event
Join us for Raíces, an exhibition of contemporary jewelry by Colectiva Tilde. Tilde is composed of all Latin American women.

The Artists:
Alejandra Salinas is a metalsmith and contemporary jeweler born in the United States and raised in Monterrey, Mexico.
Cassandra Adame is a ceramic artist and a jeweler from Juarez, Chihuahua. She is a UTEP graduate and currently teaches pottery and jewelry classes in Juarez and El Paso, Texas.
Maru Lopez is an artist, educator, and emerging craft researcher. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico she is presently based in San Diego, CA. She holds a BA in Latin American History and studied jewelry for 4 years at Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence.
Sandra Salaices is a native of México and received a BFA in Metals and Ceramics from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2017.
