Cantareras: Colima Dog Pottery Class
During this class, you will learn the basics needed to construct this iconic dog from pre-colonial Mexico, known as Colima Dog, originally Tlalchichi. These clay dogs were commonly found in tombs, as they were believed to help guide the dead on their journey through the Underworld.

About The Event
During this class, you will learn the basics needed to construct this iconic dog from pre-colonial Mexico, known as Colima Dog, originally Tlalchichi (dog of the earth). These clay dogs were commonly found in tombs, as they were believed to help guide the dead on their journey through the Underworld.
The final project will result in a Colima dog between 4" to 5" long.

- Yes! You may bring any drink to sip on as well.
How long will it take for my piece to be ready?
- Please keep in mind your project will still need to dry, be glazed, and fired. They can take up to 4-6 weeks to be ready, you can always check the status here: www.flordebarrogallery.com/cantareras
Are tickets refundable?
- Tickets are not refundable; if you cannot make it to the class, let us know. We will provide you with store credit that you can spend at the gallery or towards another class.
