Learn traditional Mata Ortiz pottery techniques from the top Mexican potters.
Mata Ortiz excels as one of the most beautiful and intricate pottery styles in Mexican pottery.
Our Mata Ortiz workshops are open to anyone aged 16 and up; beginners are welcome. The pottery workshops last 4 days, from Thursday to Sunday. Throughout the class, you will learn the basics of shaping, polishing, painting, burnishing, and firing. By the end of the class, you will take your finished piece to display at home.
This class takes place in El Paso, Texas.
